A balanced start to a day filled with great experiences!
Home-made pastries in the afternoon
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. our afternoon buffet awaits you: delicious home-made South Tyrolean pastries and soups, fruit from South Tyrol, salads and small snacks will keep you going during the day. Enjoy them on the large panoramic sun terrace. Feel the zest for life while looking at the incredibly beautiful Dolomites.
Delights for the palate to finish the day in style
In the evening your palate will be spoiled by our kitchen team. Chef de cuisine Helmut Profanter and his team create a vast salad and starter's buffet every evening, and a 4-course menu with choice that our guests remember even when back home: traditional, home-made South Tyrolean specialties like Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach), dumplings, and spatzln are combined with Mediterranean delights. Very popular is the gentle lamb meat from our own breeding of bespectacled sheep.
Furthermore, every week a traditional Tyrolean evening with music, and a Mediterranean gala dinner are organised (with wine tasting).
Traditional South Tyrolean dishes
We love traditional South Tyrolean cuisine! For this reason, every evening you'll find traditional dishes from South Tyrol as a menu choice. South Tyrolean dishes are marked with a symbol, and are made of South Tyrolean products only, sometimes with a classic, sometimes a modern interpretation. South Tyrolean cuisine is as delicious as the South Tyrolean mountains. Try them!
The Granpanorama Hotel StephansHof follows the flow of the seasons
In spring, we focus on asparagus and lamb from our own organic breed. Furthermore, we spoil our guests with fresh Alpine herbs from organic production from the Oberpalwitterhof farm in Barbiano (weekly guided hike of the herbs garden with explanation of herbs). In summer, our menu includes light and refined dishes: Mediterranean ravioli and pasta, salads and meat dishes await you in the evening. Autumn in the Valle Isarco means time for the traditional "Törggele" events with chestnuts and new wine. Our cuisine too offers traditional South Tyrolean dishes during this period: ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, dumplings, bacon and chestnuts, white wine soup, and other century-old South Tyrolean recipes.
Our cuisine focuses on seasonal quality products purchased from farmers from the surroundings.
