- Völser Weiher - The romantic mountain lake
Distance: approx. 30 km | journey time: approx. 40 minutes
The Völser Weiher lake at the foot of the Schlern is one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Italy. Surrounded by dense forest and with views of the Dolomites, it offers a fantastic backdrop for swimming, sunbathing or boating. A jetty, sunbathing lawns and two cosy restaurants make the lake particularly popular.
- Lake Kaltern - The warmest in the Alps
Distance: approx. 35 km | journey time: approx. 45 minutes
With its summer water temperatures of up to 28°C, Lake Kaltern is ideal for connoisseurs. Whether swimming, pedal boating or enjoying an aperitif in one of the lakeside bars - Alpine bathing pleasure blends with Mediterranean flair here. Particularly popular with families and water sports enthusiasts.
- Montiggl Lakes - natural idyll in the middle of the forest

Nestled in a natural forest area south of Bolzano are the large and the small Montiggl lakes. The two bathing lakes are surrounded by hiking and cycle paths and have well-tended sunbathing lawns, jetties and a public lido. Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers.
